Gutterballing
Like a bowling ball that travels impressively down the lane only to curve into the gutter at the last moment, "gutterballing" is excelling in slightly the wrong direction.
We take on projects we don't truly care about, driven by the promise of external validation and approval. "We feel positive emotions, and it's because of you!" they'll say, and that temporary high keeps us trapped. The danger lies in how others reinforce this misalignment—they'll cheer as you sink deeper into commitments that don't serve your true purpose.
Remember: traveling far and Velocity|fast means nothing if you're heading toward the wrong destination. The most insidious traps are the ones lined with applause.
